Introduction

Hatten is a characteristic peak located at the foothills of the Lukttinden - Dårtindan mountain massif. Geographically, this is approx. half-way between Sandnessjøen and Okstindan on the east-west axis. This mountain top must not be confused with Hatten near Hattfjelldal.

From Nævervegen (the route described below), the distance to the top is 4,5km. 2,2km along a tractor road, and 2,3km off-trail. It is a bit strange that such a characteristic - and accessible peak does not have a marked trail to the top. Don't be discouraged by the cliffs on top. There is an easy route!
