Løvstakken seen from Ulriken(No Javascript) |
While Ulriken may be the king of the eastern Bergen city mountains, Løvstakken is the dominating mountain among the western city mountains, which also includes Olsokfjellet, Damsgårdsfjellet and Lyderhorn.
There are numerous trails up this mountain, and large areas of the Bergen population have Løvstakken as hiking mountain #1. As time goes by, more trails will be added to this page.
Løvstakken's factor towards the higher Byfjellene is 457m. The saddle is along Fjøsangerveien road, near the roundabout west of Storevedt. Last adjacent 5m contour lines are 25m, but some contour lines have been cut. 20m is an estimated saddle height.
