Hoklane seen from Veset

Primary factor:

Hoklane (M711: 483m, Ø.K: 482,70m, N60 27.010 E5 33.501) has a primary factor of 120m towards the higher Såtefjellet (666m). The saddle is found in Haverdalen. Ref. Økonomisk Kartverk (5m contours), you cross the 365m contours on the high route, but not 360m. The saddle height has been interpolated to 363m.

Access:
Drive to Osterøy over the Osterøy bridge. Pass the toll (currently NOK 45,-) and continue through the tunnel. At 3,6Km after the bridge, turn right onto a gravel road at bus stop #2584. At the first farm, turn left, and 100m later, park the car in an intersection. I checked with the nearest farm if parking was ok. You should too. It looked like private property.

From the intersection, follow the forest road that runs up to the left, curves 180 degrees and heads for the mountain. The forest road is easy to spot 2m away from the car. See also the pictures below. The forest road turns into a forest trail and leads you straight to the summit, marked by a small pole. You will pass two green boxes (contents unknown) on your way to the top.

This is a quick and easy hike. You're up in 30-45 minutes. Nice views.
