Sverre |

| Hello Arnt, Thank you for your fantastic website! I found your site while attempting to describe the fjords and mountains of Norway to friends. I spent some time in Norway in the late 80's when I was in the Navy and was awe struck by its beauty. Although I did not get the chance to do any hiking, I can tell you that seeing the mountains from the fjords was incredible. I hope to visit again soon to do some hikes. Keep up the good work! | Hi Arnt, I came across your web-site trying to find any pictures or information I can about Teigland. I found a couple of pictures and one hiking route were you talked about Teigland farms along your route. It was the most info I have been able to find anywhere. I live in the U.S. and my family moved from here in the 1800,s. Your pictures show how beautiful this area is, I wonder why my family left this area? I would like to come visit this area in my lifetime. Don't know if it will ever happen. If anyone else out there might have any pictures or info on Teigland, I sure would like to hear from you. Thanks, Dave Teigland. Story, Wyoming. U.S.A. | |

| Hi Arnt Thank you so much for the extraordinary effort you've put into this site. It brings back many great memories of the few trips I've had hiking in Norway. No doubt it'll inform any future trips I make also. To say I'm jealous of your travels in this beautiful land is the understatement of the century. Please keep up the fantastic work, and PLEASE post as many pictures of sporty girls on Norwegian Mountains ![]() (I have no words to describe one spotted on Slogen in 2007, going the other way, of course!) Cheers |

| Hi Arnt! You made me remeber my trip to Hornelen two years ago with my girlfriend. It was a very misty and rainy summer there with some local floods. But we have reached the summit. You can see couple of photos here: http://brancaleone.rajce.idnes.cz/Norway(Leica)/ We have put our tent to the saddle between Lageidsvatnet and Skjeklevatnet. We have followed the edge than along the lakes and joined marked foothpath near to the rocky plateau. On the way back we have "enjoyed" a muddy toboggan till Hornskor. Then approx. 4 km on the road (till the tunel) and at the end of the trip a 200m ascent to the saddle where our tent was. Equipped only with 17 years old map of Alfotbreen. Beautiful, but - 17 hours trip! aaah shit... |
