I really like Skagetåa on Nerlandsøya. It's not the most awesome peak I've ever seen, but at least it got the better of Rune and me when we tried to get up its southwest ridge. And when seen from Skorpesundet, you might just realize that you've never seen a more perfectly shaped pyramid peak....

Today, I wanted to show this top to Anne. The snow had left sea level, but we didn't have to go upwards for long before we felt we were in the middle of a solid winter. The first section of the route is steep and fun, but the walk up the ridge can be a bit dull if you don't have the magnificent view towards the inland peaks.

Fortunately, the snow shower passed and we got a glimpse of Keipen on Skorpa island as we reached the top of Skagetåa....
